Groundbreaking Ceremony – The Exciting Journey of Bellana

On the 8th of August, a significant milestone was celebrated as Palm LeyLines hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for our Bellana Project in the breathtaking Balangan area, Bali. This event marks the beginning of an exciting journey as we embark on constructing what promises to be an iconic development in one of Bali’s most picturesque locations.

The ceremony was attended by our esteemed Co-Founders, James Hartshorn and Sebastian Link, along with our Construction Director, Johnny Sullivan, and all the dedicated team of Palm LeyLines. In honor of the occasion, everyone donned traditional Balinese attire, embracing the rich cultural heritage of the island.

The event commenced with the traditional Balinese Groundbreaking ceremony known as Ngeruak. This sacred ritual is deeply rooted in Balinese culture and symbolizes the purification and preparation of the land before construction begins. Ngeruak is a ceremonial act of seeking permission from the spirits of the land, ensuring harmony and balance as we move forward with our project. It is a gesture of respect, acknowledging the spiritual significance of the earth and setting the stage for a successful and prosperous build.
